Tangradi Named AHL Player of the Week

Pittsburgh's number one prospect Eric Tangradi has been named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week.
The Big Dog scored five goals and two assists for seven points for the Baby Pens in just the past three games.
After a 4-point night against the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday, Tangradi picked up two more goals and a fight last Saturday vs. Norfolk.
Not only is his net-front screening and grit developing quickly, he is now starting to produce points on an every night basis.
With about ten Pittsburgh forward contracts expiring at the end of this season, players like Tangradi, Dustin Jeffrey, and even Tim Wallace look to make an NHL impact sooner than later.
