Weber remains a Predator, not a becoming Flyer

Shea Weber won't be a Philadelphia Flyer as the Nashville Predators have matched the Flyers' huge offer. Weber now will remain with the Predators (in the Western Conference) for the next 14-years, unless he's traded. You have to think that the offer sheet was helpful to the Preds in at least one respect: There's not much chance that Weber would have agreed to a 14-year deal with the Predators without it.

Will the Flyers return their focus to Bobby Ryan now? Or turn to Shane Doan? Or something else? You have to figure "do nothing" isn't ever in their offseason plans.
