The Big Dog, Eric Tangradi has been called up to Pittsburgh.
Tangradi has been a top scorer in Wilkes-Barre so far this season, posting 12 points (7+5) in 12 games.
Last night's two-goal performance in Norfolk sealed the deal:
The Penguins have called up forward Eric Tangradi from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).
After participating in the AHL All-Star Game Monday night, he will play in tonights's contest against the New York Islanders.
In 9 NHL games earlier this season, he posted 2 points (1+1) in 9 games.
Throughout 42 AHL games, he's tallied 32 points (18+14) and 86 penalty minutes.
His 18 goals are good enough to take over the team lead in that category.
Welcome back, Big Dog.
