In the offseason, Jaromir Jagr signed for 3.3 million with the Flyers.
The Penguins had that money available but they decided to pay Tyler Kennedy 2.0 million and Steve Sullivan 1.5 million.
Basically, the Pens got two players instead of one. And based on the stats it is a dead heat.

We'll start with ol' Double J:
His 21 current points would put him 3rd on the Pens.
By all accounts the Double J has been a success. He has missed a few games with a groin injury.
The whole world awaits his appearance on 24/7.
Now to TK:
TK was concussed so it is hard to judge. He had one of his better games of the season against the Bruins.
Sullivan has been great in our opinion. He has given Neal and Malkin a steady line-mate. He probably hasn't scored enough to make him a big time sleeper signing, but his best hockey may be in front of him this season.
Jagr = 21 points
TK/Sullivan = 22 points.
It is a near dead heat. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out the rest of the year and into the playoffs.
