RECAP: Broad-Yr-Street Stomp. PENS WIN.
That's two in a row.
Win on Monday, that's called a winning streak.
It has happened before.
Was the best part of this game Brent Johnson dominating in hostile territory?
Was it the Pens' PP finally coming alive?
Was it Crosby sucking?
No. It was Mike Richards' meltdown after the game:
This clip from the media scrum was posted on the Flyers' website but quickly taken down.
We grabbed it before it disappeared.
Thanks to @rjlancia for this
Ryan W., Grant H., Travis B.,
Nothing going on early.
Rupp and Jody Shelley dance. Shelley's little left jabs were annoying.
Pens got their first PP of the game when Jeff Carter throws a puck over the glass.
Tangradi went off for 4 minutes when he gave Zherdev a stick in the face.
Briere puts lifts in his skates and scores some goal. 1-0.
The game was total crap, but then the Flyers had a miscommunication.
Crosby sucks and passes it to Kunitz.
Kunitz walks in all alone and buries it. 1-1.
Top PS of the year right here.
Right after that, Kimmo Timonen goes off for hooking.
Pens on the PP.
Period recap: Mike Richards sucks.
Pens had like 7 powerplays early in the second period.
Let's see how that turned out:
Crosby goes for some tripping call.
Pens kill it. It felt like it gave the Pens a little boost.
The rest of the period was mud.
It was a boring-ass game up to this point.
Then Briere hits the post.
Carter goes off for high-sticking.
Test Tube does the dirty work.
No more talk about goalie controversies for now.
Because there isn't one.   Brent Johnson has seen to that.
He is starting Monday, or we start stealing Bylsma's newspapers.
