Hilary Duff is coming to Pittsburgh.
The Penguins have signed Mike Comrie to a one year, $500,000 deal.
"Comrie's agent Ritch Winter told TSN that his client agreed to sign for substantially less than the $1.25 million he earned last season with the Edmonton Oilers because he believed it would help the team. Winter also said that Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has already contacted Comrie to welcome him to the team."
The Pens now have an abundance of NHL level forwards. Plus, they have players like Nick Johnson, Eric Tangradi, Dustin Jeffrey, Chris Conner and others who spent the majority of last season in WBS pushing to make the NHL this year.
There's definitely going to be some fierce competition for roster spots in camp. Outside of the obvious (Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Kunitz, Dupuis, Cooke, Asham, etc.) you have to think that some players who spent the whole season on the NHL Pens last year may not do the same this coming season.
