Gameday 68 – Bruins

Boston Bruins (40-24-3) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (41-21-5)

12:30 pm/et

TV: NBC, TSN

Consol Energy Center – Pittsburgh, PA

A 12:30 game and we just lost an hour. This will be fun.

No Crosby. NBC must be upset.

Season Series: 1-1-0.

Last meeting that counted: February 4, 2012. Penguins won 2-1.

What we said in our recap:

Do people still doubt Marc-Andre Fleury? If there is anyone that still does, fire up the third period tape of this game and show it to them. MAF was stood on his head for most of the third period. The Penguins never dominated this game, but they definitely held their own against the big bad Bruins. Huge two points. Pens have gotten four points this week.

What they're saying:

Nothing yet, because it's too stupidly early for a hockey game.

Tim Thomas/Marty Turco

Thomas played yesterday in the Bruins loss to Washington, so it could be Marty Turco in net today.

It's a big game and the start of a big series of games for the Pens. The playoffs are rapidly approaching and things are getting intense. Buckle up. But seriously… this is a terrible time for a hockey game.

Do It.

Go Pens.
