Consol Energy Center – Pittsburgh, PA

Bruce Boudreau returns to Pittsburgh and this time he's with Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Saku Koivu, Teemu Selanne and the Anaheim Ducks.

Oh yeah, Dan Bylsma used to play for the Ducks. There's probably no chance of that fact being mentioned during the game, right?

It's almost a guarantee that Jason Blake will score tonight.

Season Series: 0-0-0

Last meeting that counted: November 5, 2010. Penguins lost 3-2.

What we said in our recap:

The Pens put themselves in a huge hole against a mediocre team and almost dug themselves out. The third period was a great example of what the Pens can be, but against the Ducks it really isn't all that impressive. Other than a three-goal burst, the Ducks really didn't do much. Then again, it was a three-goal burst.

Hiller outplayed MAF, but it would certainly be a mistake to place the blame for this loss at the feet of Marc-Andre Fleury. The offense is coming close to that "Maybe we should be worried" stage, and the defense wasn't good during the 3-0 run by the Ducks.

Know Your Enemy: On The Duck Pond.

What they're saying:

They will need to do it against Pittsburgh, a team that is closer to a Detroit caliber than Columbus. The Ducks recalled Jeff Deslauriers from Syracuse a couple days ago and sent Iiro Tarkki back down. Perhaps the plan is to put Deslauriers in net, to give relief to Hiller. The last time they played Hiller in back to back games, it did not turn out so well. No sense having a second goalie if you don't use him. Regardless of who is in net, the Ducks need the win just as bad.
