Know Your Enemy: Days of Y'Orr and Something's Bruin
What Days of Y'Orr is saying about the Bruins:

The Bruins are showing some character, finally, on the ice and are finding ways to win games — be it from behind against the Pens, a blowout vs. the Sens or a crazy, back-and-forth epic against the Flithadelphia Flyers. Wins, obviously, matter and the Bruins are finding ways to get points in the standings. They haven't always been pretty as of late, but ugly wins can turn into winning streaks. Hopefully the Bruins can keep the ball rolling against Pittsburgh this afternoon.

It wasn’t a game for hockey purists or for those who know that a hockey team’s success is defined by superlative goalie play. And it certainly wasn’t a game featuring execution that either coach will be happy about. It was a game made for the fans – and the fans ate it up. And after the game, in a Bruins locker room that has too often been a somber place after a hockey game this season, there was enough cheer to make one believe it might still have been the holiday season.

Last meeting with the Pens: January 10, 2011 – Bruins 4-2.
In our recap we said:
First off. Mark Recchi sucks.  During his third round of duty with the Penguins, Mark Recchi could barely skate. But not now. He is like 56, and he is scoring devastating goals against the Pens.  Just really pisses everyone off.
Season series: Bruins Lead 2-0
Pens Notes:
Dustin Jeffrey, same as last game against the bruins, has been called up again.  [ Wilkesblog ]
Malkin talks about leading. [ ]
Bruins Notes:
Stupid article on Claude Julien making out with himself. [ espn ]
Some guy asks if the Bruins are among the elite. Ummmmm if you have to ask? [ NECN ]
Lucic is a bitch and won't play. [ mass live ]

Most Annoying player on the Bruins:

Mark Recchi fronts the list in our minds.

Recchi was a known cancer in his last years as a Pen. But he is still scoring. Such a joke.

Bruins have made a habit of playing like shit, and crawling their way out. We'll see if that happens today.
Huge matchup between Evgeni Malkin and Chara. They went toe-to-toe in the last game and Chara won.
Malkin has had some big games in Boston, and historically Malkin plays well on Saturdays.
Elsewhere in the lineup the Penguins have gotten little to no production from Pascal Dupuis or Max Talbot.
Former Penguin killer Michael Ryder for the Bruins hasn't done shit recently against the Pens. In 26 career games he has 23 points.
The Bruins are a disease.
And all with all due respect, Boston, fuck you.
