Know The Enemy:
Puckin' Eh

First things first, it was ten years ago today that Mario Lemieux announced his return to the NHL.
Almost fittingly, his first game back was against the Leafs.

We'll take any excuse to post that clip.
How great is it to hear "Lemieuuuuuuuuuuuuux" there?

The Leafs are a bizarre hockey team and one the Pens shouldn't take lightly.
Toronto's won two shootouts in a row, defeating Boston and Washington.
Prior to those wins, they'd lost four straight.

They beat the Pens earlier this year:

We wonder if Colton Orr remembers that game.

This is another one of those games where the Pens need to be careful and not overlook their opponent.
Nothing is guaranteed in this league.

Without getting political here, Toronto's new mayor was sworn in yesterday and Don Cherry was invited to speak at the ceremony.
No idea why.

Down Goes Brown has been very quiet on this game.
We can only assume that means he's up to something.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Star's Leafs Fan blog says the Penguins have "the most ridiculous logo in the NHL."
Apparently he hasn't realized that his team is named the Leafs.
He also tries to make a hilarious "Sidney Crosby is a terrorist" joke complete with a homeland security chart.
Furthermore, he's depending on Colby Armstrong to stop Sid.

He does make a point that the Pens would be wise in listening to however:

Call me crazy but I have a good feeling about tonight. The Leafs play well in Pittsburgh. The Pens' winning streak has to end at some point, right? Right? So if our magnificent Leaf bastards arrive with the determination and grit and never-say-die attitude we've witnessed over the past two games, there should be no threat they can't overcome.
