Best seats in the house?

Puck Daddy had a post recently about these VIP seats showing up in arenas around the NHL.
Boom:

Blonde (noun) citeehhh.

People who buy these seats do get valet parking in the players' lot, they get some dinner, and they attend the Minnesota coach's post-game press conference.  Nashville, Tampa Bay, Columbus are doing this, as well.  The common thread with those arenas is that they know NBC doesn't come around often, so they don't have to leave room for Pierre McGuire.

But are seats right on the glass good seats?  From our personal experience, we've liked those seats down on the glass every once in a while, but for the most part, seats higher up so you can see what's going on around the ice are better.

Anyone have season tickets on the glass?
