Good old WHYGAVS won Best Baseball Blog of the Year.
We think it's because anybody can blog about the Yankees and Red Sox.
It takes someone special to blog about the Pirates.
Plus it's a great blog.

Undoubtedly the most important news from the awards show
was that Carlton, under his own volition, joined Pensblog brass in the audience at the show.

From GM Marty the Chicken:

"We were all very impressed by Carlton showing that he's one of us,
that he's part of this team that we're trying to build up here.

Whether or not this will shorten his suspension is left to be seen.
But he's making all the right moves to show he is ready to change."
