The tour of "Places Dan Bylsma used to play that now have a former Penguin on defense" reaches its second and final stop.

Tonight "The Piece" plays his former team.

Scuds was an important part of the Penguins Stanley Cup-winning team last season.
His work in the Final against Detroit was where legends and four-year, $13.6 million dollar deals are made.

Scuderi grew with the Penguins.

He was drafted by the team in 1998, made his NHL debut during the 2003-2004 season.
He struggled while the team struggled, and he succeeded when the team succeeded.
He left the team a Stanley Cup Champion.

Now, after the jump, get gets Photoshopped.

"He’s a piece to the puzzle. He brings a lot of leadership. He’s a quiet guy, in terms of in the room and things, but he brings a lot of leadership out there on the ice. He will block a shot no matter how he has to do it. He’s been to two Stanley Cup Finals, he’s won a Stanley Cup. He has played in the league a long time too. People forget that he’s been around for a while. He leads in that way and he’s consistent. Every game, you know what you’re going to get out of him, so he’s a great addition for them. We had fun playing together, and he was a great guy here, but he’s really brought a lot to their team as well."

-- Crosby on Scuderi

Both Sidney Crosby and Dan Byslma have worn the purple crown before.
Sid trained with the Kings in 2004, before he was drafted.

LA will be wearing their third jerseys tonight.

Question #1: Who should be Team Canada' captain at the Olympics - Sidney Crosby, Jarome Iginla or Scott Niedermayer?

Keith Jones: "It is Sidney Crosby. Not only is he the best player for Team Canada, he is also the most committed player to winning. That can be attested to with a great save last night in Anaheim allowing the Pittsburgh Penguins to defeat the Ducks and actually stopping Scott Niedermayer on that particular play. Crosby has matured to the point that he will be a terrific captain for Team Canada."

Bob Clarke: "I would say Sidney Crosby and the reason I would say that is that when we chose Eric Lindros (in 1998), we had Gretzky on the team, and Gretzky should have been captain. There is too much pressure when you have a player like Gretzky on the team and don't make him the captain for a younger person to take over that role. But there are no 'Gretzkys' left. I think Crosby has been super since he came into the league and I think he's going to be the captain."

Tonight's game is going to be shown online in the US on Yahoo!

The LA Kings are currently 9-4-2 and sit in fourth place in the Western Conference.
Anze Kopitar leads the league with 24 points.

He scored his first NHL hat trick on October 22nd against Dallas:

For some reason no one is talking about him breaking Gretzky's goal scoring record.

Using their own kind against them worked on the Ducks.

Do it.

Go Pens.
