The Los Angeles Kings are seven points out of the playoffs.  They still feel like they can make it.  That's exactly what makes tonight's game dangerous.  The Kings beat Boston in overtime yesterday.  Dustin Brown is a beast. [Youtube]

NHL.com is loving the controversy surrounding Ovechkin's 50th goal celebration.

After the game, Ovi celebrated as he usually does, by getting hit in the face with cream.

His teammates were supposed to join him in the celebration, but they left him hanging.  Ovechkin sounds like he did what he did to annoy Don Cherry.

This isn't worth anymore coverage.

The Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL are having an "Over 18" night next week.  Classy.  An open bar and strippers is just what a hockey game needs. [Puck Daddy]  No word as to whether or not the Panthers flasher will be there.

CBC says that Sidney Crosby is changing for the better.  It's a solid read.

Rumor has it that Sid removed his visor in order to fight Marc Savard of the Bruins during the game on Sunday.  The fight never took place.  Did Savard back down?  [Puck Daddy]

Philly plays Buffalo tonight and the Hurricanes host the Islanders.  A Sabres win could help the Penguins inch closer to fourth place.

Tonight the Pens are trying to make it twelve straight games in which they've collected at least one point.  They haven't lost in regulation since February 22nd.

Go Pens.
