LINK CITY: Injury Updates, Blue Jerseys, Goaltending, More
Lots of news coming from the Pens today. First, on the injury front:
- Zbynek Michalek is out 2 to 4 weeks with an upper-body injury
- Forward Arron Asham (upper body) skated for the first time Thursday; as did Jordan Staal
- Brooks Orpik is still day-to-day with a groin strain
The Pens also announced that they will wear the blue jerseys against the Islanders on Friday. An attempt to reverse a curse with a curse? Interesting.
Bylsma also announced that Brent Johnson will start on Friday, giving some fuel to the haters.
