Interesting tweet today from a usually solid source:
Penguins are going to try to replace Pascal Dupuis via a transaction. Plan is to look at what's out there and make a move after the Olympics

That timeline puts us back at the trade deadline. Presumably Shero wants to see how the landscape changes after the Olympics. Remember, the Pens will have some cap relief thanks to the Tomas Vokoun and Dupuis injuries. According to CapGeek, it's about $4.9 million.
Our top three candidates
1. Mike Cammalleri – Oh yes. Proven playoff scorer. Don't forget a former coach of his is on the Penguins staff – Jacques Martin. His cap hit is $6 million, and he is a free agent next season
2. Blake Wheeler – We've been on this train a while. Bylsma will have a good look at Wheeler for 12 days in Sochi. Wheeler's price tag might be really, really high.
3. Devin Setoguchi – Setoguchi is a free agent next season and would be a cheaper alternative.
