QUICK CAP: Pens punish Sabres

There's really nothing to say. The Pens did exactly what was expected of them against the worst team in the NHL. 9 different Penguins registered a point. Ryan Miller might as well fake an injury instead of going to Sochi.

OUR THREE STARS

3. Paul Martin — When there's a blowout, it's easy to forget about the back end of the ice. Martin led all players with a +3 and played a brilliant game.

2. Sidney Crosby — A vintage Crosby goal in the second period. He also had a big-time assist on the Pens' first goal.

1. Evgeni Malkin — He was the captain of the Jokinen and Neal ship that took over this game. They had the Sabres defeated every shift they took, in the second period especially. And Malkin's breakaway goal essentially broke the Sabres.
