Notes & Lines: Part 1 of Back-to-Back Caps

We love when the Penguins play the Capitals. Why? Because, despite all of the hype and everything else, the games are usually very good. They don't typically degenerate into the ridiculousness that Pens/Flyers games frequently turn into. Instead, the're often good hockey games between two rivals and two teams that have a history of not liking one another.

The Capitals are fighting for a playoff spot right now. They added Jaroslav Halak to their team at the deadline. (Yes, that Jaroslav Halak.) They've also added talented prospect Evgeny Kuznetsov to their line-up. He'll make his NHL debut tonight.

Jeff Zatkoff will be in net for the Penguins.
