The Pittsburgh Penguins Preseason Starts in About 18 Seconds

Less than two days after the Stanley Cup was handed out, the Pittsburgh Penguins have announced their preseason schedule for next season:

The Pittsburgh Penguins will begin the 2013 preseason on the road against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday, September 15 at 6 p.m. at Nationwide Arena.

The Penguins return home to host the Detroit Red Wings on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center.

The six-game preseason schedule includes home games against Columbus on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 23 against the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m.

The Penguins will hold their fourth annual Free Game for Kids when the Penguins host the Blue Jackets on Sept. 21. Details for the event will be available at a later date.

The Penguins will also play road games at Chicago on Sept. 19 (time TBA) and Detroit on Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

The broadcast schedule for the pre-season games will be announced as it becomes available.
