QUICK CAP: Malkin, Zatkoff lead Pens over Panthers

For a few brief moments it looked like the Panthers were going to make a game out of this one. Those proved to be nothing but moments the Penguins let them breathe.

The Pens won 5-1. Evgeni Malkin capped a 25-point November with a goal, and three assists.

Jeff Zatkoff was actually really good in this game as well, the Panthers outshot the Penguins 40-22. The Pens sweep the Florida trip again, and bank another two points.

OUR THREE STARS

3. James Neal

Via the Penguins radio network, since the Pens were shutout against the Devils on November 16th, the Penguins have scored 31 goals. Of those 31 goals, Neal and Malkin have been in on 23 of them. Unbelievable. Another goal for Neal in this one.

2. Evgeni Malkin

Malkin with his first four-point night in what seems like forever.

1. Jeff Zatkoff

Zatkoff got rocked last time he played in Florida, and he played like he was erasing that memory. And he did. Zatkoff kept the Pens in it early, overall, really impressive win for him.
