Tampa Bay Times Forum – Tampa, FL

The Pittsburgh Penguins didn't do well against one Florida team. Will they have a better night against the other one?

Hopefully the Pens got all of the losing out of their system by playing down to their opponent yesterday and they'll be back at their normal level against Steven Stamkos and the Lightning.

STATS, INFO & NOTES:

Leading Scorers:

What They're Saying: "Drama! Goalies! 3-1-0 Teams! Tampa Bay Lightning versus Pittsburgh Penguins preview"

There's constant drama in pro sports, though we tend to see larger stories as the drama instead of the smaller stories. By "larger" I mean things happening with the more visible or high-end players… So while there's actually drama that's played out over the last four games for the Tampa Bay Lightning, the first big dramatic story – that's subjective, by the way – is Ben Bishop and his horrendously ambiguous lower-body injury.

What Happened Last Time: April 11, 2013 – Pens won 6-3 [Our Recap]

Seven games left, and the Pens' roster is getting stronger every game. Kris Letang returned for this one, and his presence was felt immediately. Every player the Pens traded for had a point in this game. The Pens came out with a purpose for this one, and we saw bits and pieces of what this machine can do. The Bolts hung around, but the Pens flipped a switch, and that was it.

Basically, the Pens' biggest concern right now are North Korea and rumors of Sidney Crosby dating pop singers.

Unbelievable Pens fan presence in Tampa Bay, too. There was a LGP chant during a Pens' PK at one point.

Penguins Player(s) to Watch: Marc-Andre Fleury. The Lightning know how to score goals, so Fleury will need to be sharp.

Lightning Player(s) to Watch: Steven Stamkos, because he's really, really good at scoring goals.
