It goes without saying that ESPN is not the place to go for hockey. We all know this. Still, some do, and when they do they see something like this.
The top 100 forwards list is whatever. But check out some of the pics they used.
Kunitz made the list. The Chris Kunitz from four-years-ago also made it.
Oh, and the 13 year-old James Neal made the list, too.
Is that even James Neal?
Kind of shows you the level of attention ESPN pays to hockey. There are some other pics that are horrible as well. [ ESPN ]
ESPN is the best
ESPN sucks, but, hey, they named the Penguins first in the NHL in some survey. [ Pens.com ]
In all, 122 teams from the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB were ranked in order, based on a weighted average of scores in eight different categories ranging from the quantitative to the emotionally subjective:
· Fan relations (25.2%)
· Affordability (17.4%)
· “Bang for the buck” (16.8%)
· Stadium experience (12.4%)
· Players (11.30%)
· Ownership (10.2%)
· Title track (3.6%)
· Coaching (3.1%)
"ESPN just validated my team; I am so happy," said an idiot.
Congrats to the Pens, though. Hard work for sure, although we want to know who was surveyed.
"Bang for Buck," hmmmmm.
